One of the biggest camera dealers in the U.K., Dixons are now withdrawing film cameras, U.S. based Circuit City stock mostly disposable film cameras, this is a clear indication of the strength and popularity of digital images.

Digital Images

We provide digital high resolution images on CD-Rom which will include full colour labels and inserts to jewel case. We also keep copies forever so if ever you lose or damage yours, they can always be replaced.

The Camera is a Canon EOS-1D Mk2, max image size is 3504x2336 pixels: 8.2million effective pixels and the image ratio is 3:2.

Files are delivered in jpg format, 24bit, and range from 1-10MB dependent on content. Images should be printed at a minimum 300dpi, though 2400*1200 is recommended by most professionals. Printable image is approx 3ft by 2ft though obviously, 6*4’s look great too!

Images are left un-cropped and unprocessed allowing easy resizing for any size frame where ratio is other than 3:2, 8*10 for example, and base image is also editable in any way. Any images which are cropped or processed in terms of colour, i.e. black and white, original images are also supplied.
